ENGLISH AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP 2010

It is always an absolute pleasure to run a Championship at Little Aston, due in no small way to the excellence of the course and the people who help. There was not a blade out of place and the excellent putting sufaces all went to produce a worthy Championship and Champion. I never heard a "moan" about the catering and the support from the Professional shop was outstanding.

BIRMINGHAM St. MARY'S HOSPICE GOLF DAY

I have had some wonderful feedback about the event; the food was great and the day lived up to our expectations. Please pass on our thanks to all your staff who were extremely helpful and courteous as always and made the event run so smoothly.

I am delighted to report that the day raised just over £4800 for Birmingham St. Mary's, we could not have done it without your support.

 BOOLERS GOLF DAY

I feel it appropriate to write to you and all at Little Aston Golf Club to thank everyone for their collective support and efforts for our golf day.

The letters of thanks and recognition of your efforts from our clients speaks volumes for your organisation.

We could not fault any part of the day, as you may recall we have had a long history of golf days in the business and estimated that 2010 was our 21st such event. A part of me had thought 21 years was a good innings and that we should declare whilst on a high.

However, the general experience of our day at Little Aston has persuaded me to hold the event again in 2011 at Little Aston.
