Hole Eighteen

“A good finishing hole with a demanding tee shot. The 18th hole generally plays into the prevailing wind and with it being slightly uphill plays further than its yardage says.

The drive needs to be well struck to get over the right fairway bunker so a line just inside this is perfect but be careful as right of the bunker a large oak tree comes into play, and if you pull your tee shot left there is trouble all the way up this side with a large tree that may also interfere with your second shot.

The green is partially out of view due to the large bunker that protects the whole of the front of the green, which makes it difficult to judge your distance control. Try and leave yourself below the pin on this green as it can be very fast from back to front.”
